A really simple but effective exercise to help golfers of any standard is 'The Gate Drill'. Make a corridor out of tees leaving enough room (but not too much!) for the width of the clubhead to pass through.
Practice swinging cleanly through the gap and clipping a lone tee peg positioned in the centre of the corridor. Once you can contact the peg ten consecutive times without disturbing the outer pegs, place a ball on the peg and try and reproduce the action with the same effort level and tempo as before.
This drill is a great way of putting your focus on the business end of the golf swing whilst the path and pace of your swing improve at the same time.
Good golfing! Moose.
